This spring Taro’s Origami Studio was asked by Focus Features and Laika Animation Studios to create a unique origami experience for Mother’s Day. In conjunction with the ad campaign for their feature film “Kubo and the Two Strings” over a three week period, the Taro’s staff hand-folded over 3,000 origami roses and 1,500 origami leaves. They then fashioned everything into a one-of-a-kind bouquet with over 500 combined folds in each one. Here are some photos of the process.
Kubo and the Two Strings will be in theaters August 19th, 2016.
