On the first Sunday of every winter month in 2016, Brooklyn Botanical Garden hosted an event called “Light in Winter” to lift up the winter spirits. Taro’s Origami Studio offered drop-in sessions and academy sessions for every First Sunday. This year’s program focused on Brooklyn Botanical Garden’s collections and Japanese culture.
